About Tony Rodriguez
Born in Puerto Rico, lived in the states, and currently residing back on the island. I have painted in acrylics on canvas. The last of my acrylic paintings are only available here. Currently devoted to digital painting using Artrage IV. I feel art is a taste of immortality. Something that lasts after your gone. It's a shame that most artwork sells for more after your dead. Hope that brought out a laugh. That's what I want to convey in my artwork, some emotion, some feeling, a sense of joy and well being. I play the cuatro (the national instrument of Puerto Rico) professionally and have been captivated by it's sound. Music and art have been partners in my muse. That would be my statement as an artist: I want people to hear the painting, to feel it. I paint for no other reason. Tony Jazz..........
